Our residents and clients are the #1 reason why we LOVE what we do. Without them there would be no us. We value each and every story because it inspires us, as well as others. If they can do it, so can you!
This message is to encourage any man that was in my position or can relate to it that with a little push and effort you can get through it and succeed as I did with the amazing help I was provided.
Positive Transition Services in all honesty saved my life , Ms. Bartola Anderson and her staff go above and beyond to help in any way they can. With my personal experience they helped keep me on track and provided tools and assistance with my re-entry into society. Examples are providing meals, housing, resources to accommodate getting jobs, training as well as documents needed to obtain employment. After I completed the program the organization still managed to keep me housed for additional time to get myself together. I would 100% recommend PTS to any individual that wants to successfully turn their life around. When I first was released I was skeptical about my adjustment of environment, Ms.Anderson gave me great help from the second I was under the program’s care. I was given a new wardrobe to start me off, safe shelter with a warm home feeling as well as nutritious meals daily. Words cannot explain how thankful I am . I couldn’t have came this far and progress with out them.

Before PTS, I was homeless living in a shelter. PTS gave me a place to live and support. My future goal is to become a certified Mental Health Specialist. Thanks, PTS!

I was asked to tell a little about myself. At first I didn't know what I could say that would help. I mean, my story is just like yours; it could be not so bad or it could be worst. We all have battle stories and in some cases battle scares. For every scare there is a story; but you thank your higher power that you made it.
Before I came to PTS, I was living under a bridge at the coldest and the wettest time of the year. I could not keep clean, so my right root became infested which caused me to loose two of my toes. I have been stabbed in the back of the head, drove in to a river, hit a big rock, got nine stitches and I can still walk.
Once day I said to myself, " I want a better life!" I wanted to live! My faith kept me going. When I came to Positive Transition Services things changed. I started working, making new friends; but most of all I AM GETTING MY LIFE BACK!
In the short time that I have been in PTS, I was asked to join a Lead position on the Fundraising team. I am humbled that they believe in me; because I am trying to do my best for my new family and it is a family. We have a mixer of some of the funniest, loving, happiest, grumpiest, group of people; but you have to have all that mixture to make a family. And you have to love them all. I thank my God for this place I am in. I have a chance now.

Camp Creek Middle school could not be "The Best Middle School Option" without the amazing commitment from Positive Transition Services. Thank you for donating monthly schools supplies to our teachers and students. The monthly donations have helped our teachers and students get off to a great start in the fall with some carry over into the spring semester. We recognize that not all our parents and families have the financial stability to supply their child with the proper school supplies they need to be successful.
Your support and donations have helped to ensure that students at CCMS were equipped with the fundamental resources and materials needed to succeed in school. When you donate necessary school supplies, PTS helps to relieve many of parents and families of financial stress that helps to alleviate uneasiness, anxiety and stress that their children may have to face. While many parents and families do not have the resources to supply extra supplies, our teachers often resort to using their personal finances to equip their classrooms. PTS has demonstrated care for the educators in our community by providing our schools with essential supplies. Thank you so much for your support of the much needed school supply donations throughout the year. We appreciate.
