At Positive Transition Services, we firmly believe that the key to ensuring the lives we help rebuild remain that way requires a comprehensive and holistic approach. Our approach gives the populations we serve the best chance at getting off the streets and staying off the streets.
PTS is a Certified and Accredited provider
Educate and empower our residents through to process of helping them understand financial, credit, and debt management. We also partner with local banks to assist our residents with obtaining checking and saving accounts.
PTS ensures every resident receives a thorough Mental Health, Substance Abuse, and Nursing Assessment within 48 hours of
enrollment to address barriers associated barriers that prevent
transitioning into the community. We continue to build strong
relationships with our local clinicians and primary care doctors
in the community.
Every resident is offered job readiness training, full time employment with, a great pay and benefits and/or job certification training in fields like construction, CDL, Information Technology, Welding and so much more. We are able to successfully accomplish this task through priceless partnerships with employers in the community.
PTS provides free transportation emergency assistance to help individuals gain employment, pickup medications, make critical doctor appointments timely, maintain ongoing counseling services, and recovery treatment services. We have also spent $5.000 in COVID-19 relief which has included free Uber and Lyft rides to get tested.
PTS works through our community partners to provide food. Over 90% of our residents come to us with no income or support. Delivering essential necessities is paramount to the treatment and care we provide to our residents.
From day one of enrollment, our residents receive month-to-month supplies of clothing, COVID-19 supplies such as masks and hand sanitizers, household cleaning supplies, free laundry services and free
food.
While most people receive their Social Security and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) payments directly, some need assistance in managing their benefits. Payments to these individuals are paid through a representative payee who receives the check on behalf of the beneficiary and provides for their personal needs.
In an ongoing effort to support our residents with transitioning, PTS covers all costs associated with our clients receiving furniture from the Furniture Bank in the community. We also provide each resident with household items, bedding, and much
more.

PTS have opportunities for individuals interested in volunteering their time for organizational and community initiatives.
